HealthChecks
If there is one sure thing it is that things change. A HealthCheck is a quick way to make sure your company's IT infrastructure and Altiris installations are in synch and up-to-date. This consulting engagement assesses the health of your currently installed Altiris solution or product suite after it has been up and running for awhile.
What can you expect
An Altiris consultant will come to your site for one week (five business days) to assess the following four areas:

Architecture - Evaluating the scalability and capacity of the existing architecture and making recommendations for improvement

Security - Evaluating role- and scope-based security against compliance criteria, testing the security implementation and making needed modifications

Performance - Evaluating the overall performance, documenting bottlenecks and trouble spots, and making improvement recommendations

Maintenance - Reviewing current maintenance procedures and providing a written maintenance plan
After the site visit, the consultant will provide a final report listing best practices, recommendations, next steps and potentially additional Altiris solutions that could benefit your IT environment. As an added benefit you will also receive three complimentary technical support incidents or one free annual subscription to the eLearning System (eLS), Altiris' online training tool.
