Pankaj Shah is an entrepreneur focused on the integration of capitalism and social good. Shah's fourth venture, Tonic, is a media company that produces, aggregates and curates content around goodness.  A digital media company dedicated to promoting the good that happens each day around the world, tonic tells the stories of people and organizations who are working to make a difference, by inspiring good in themselves and others.

The Financial Times said Shah is "inventing a new lexicon that combines business school-speak and Mother Teresa-speak.” Shah's businesses have been featured on Oprah, Ellen, The New York Times, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, The Financial Times, CBS Sunday Morning, The Today Show and Fox News Channel to name a few.

Shah currently serves on the Board of Creators of Tonic and has been proud to previously serve on a handful of non-profit boards, including BRAC USA, Girls, Inc., and Urban Zen.  BRAC USA aims to end extreme poverty in Africa and Asia through innovative, entrepreneurial development programs. BRAC is the largest non-profit social enterprise in the developing world and focuses on microfinance, health, education, and social justice.  In 2007, he was elected to serve on the board of Girls, Inc., a national non-profit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold.  In 2008, he accepted an invitation to serve as a Director to Urban Zen, a foundation started by designer Donna Karan.

He has recently committed to support the Angiogenesis Foundation, which aims to transform public health and Witness, which uses video to open the eyes of the world to human rights violations.

You can learn more about these organizations below.  And if you think there are other causes he should support, email him at pankaj@tonic.com.
