Celebrity Do-gooder OK, Parked Car Is NotBy Wynter Mitchell | Friday, November 6, 2009 3:10 PM ET
He was in town perhaps for work purposes. It's well known Angelina and Brad generally come to town for work or play but never for long. I keep missing Mr. Pitt when he takes a spin out on his motorcycle on his rare visits to Los Angeles. (By the by, when someone in my circle does on the off chance get a whiff of Mr. Pitt, say at a fancy restaurant or in the elevator of an office building, you never hear the end of it. Trust me.) I haven't been in the presence of Mr. Pitt for a few years but let me tell you, he wreaks havoc in my Hollywood neighborhood. He seems to keep having little spills like two weeks ago, when he clipped a parked car while trying to squeeze through traffic. Don't need to stop the presses for this one, folks, but I think that its funny how NY Daily News reported that "Pitt is fine, ladies. No need to worry." My favorite blogger, Michael K of Dlisted.com has his always salacious version of events and plenty more photos of Pitt hashing it out with the paparazzi who (surprise, surprise) had zero to do with this accident. But what about the car he hit? If I came out of my apartment and saw that my left side mirror was dunzo, the only thing that wouldn't send me through the roof is an apology note from Brad Pitt. Which he did. Before the ensuing swell of fan, bulb flashing and pointing he was able to leave the person his info. Celeb or not, that's rare in LA. I know it would make me feel better knowing that said heartthrob, a charitable and sexy father of six, left me a sweet little note saying he'll pay for the damages. Because here's the issue, he'd never hear the end of it if he didn't. Then it kind of negates all the coast to coast, country to country travel to tout world peace. But that's not the way Papa Pitt rolls!
