If you're one among those who will celebrate this holiday weekend without indulging in hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue or other meats as is the usual scenario, Heidi Sanson's got you covered.

Heidi's website 101cookbooks.com offers a plethora of seriously healthy, yet seriously delicious recipes that are as good as they are easy -- as they are economical. Heidi's obsession with cookbooks (like 101 of them) led her to start her website and she's even written a book called  "Super Natural Cooking" which will teach you how to cook the whole foods way without losing flavor in favor of health.

Heidi pulled out some of her oldies-but-goodies for the Fourth that are so good, you'll actually feel sorry for the folks left holding the soggy potato salad from the corner deli bag.

Some of the highlights from her Fourth faves:

Roasted Tomato Salsa

Lime & Peanut Coleslaw

Giant Black Bean Salad

Check the rest out here and get cooking (supernaturally) already!

Talking to Stevie Nicks, Etta James and Chrissie Hynde were just some of the highlights of the eight years that Jac Chebatoris spent at Newsweek magazine reporting and writing about music, pop culture and celebrities.
