The Ramones' "Bop 'Til You Drop" is about to take on new meaning.

The fifth annual Johnny Ramone tribute event is coming to Hollywood on Oct. 3, but it's not just coming to anywhere. The Saturday night event will take place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Blvd.) and feature film screenings, autograph signings and a Ramones exhibit. All proceeds will benefit the Johnny Ramone Research Fund at USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center. Johnny, who spent his last years living in Los Angeles, died of prostate cancer in 2004.

For the event, the mausoleum wall will be turned into a giant 24-foot screen for the 1977 Ramones concert movie "It's Alive" and the 1968 classic "Night of the Living Dead" in 3-D. Surviving band mates Tommy and CJ Ramone will also be on hand.

"Johnny would have been really excited about this -- he loved being Johnny Ramone all day long," explained wife Linda Ramone. "He would have loved to see Ramones fans paying tribute to him; as he always said, Ramones fans are the best fans in the world."

"It is very gratifying to see Ramones fans gather together for events like this," added Tommy Ramone. "It gives us the opportunity to keep the Ramones legacy alive and to share special times together."

Cemetery gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
