Lauren Bush's New FEED Bag for Kenya

Not only do they serve the obvious purpose of the transport of goods and groceries, but they're also fashionable in today's eco-friendly landscape. Model/designer Lauren Bush's (George W.'s niece) FEED bags go one step further — beyond just fashion and function: Proceeds from the sale of each bag benefit the U.N. Word Food Programme, for which she is an honorary spokesperson.

Her new bag, FEED 2 Kenya, Women's Wear Daily reports, is launching this week at Bergdorf Goodman. The bags are crafted by Kenyan women and students from a school for the deaf and made with local Masai fabric. Of each $195 bag, $100 will go to feed two Kenyan children in school for a year. This philanthropic initiative really gives that unassuming tote a statement, and a whole lot of power to help.
