We sure did. If you purchased one of our
Stag Tees, your purchase funded one of these soccer balls.
Sports + education = big things for kids in Africa. Together with through our partner,
Alive & Kicking, UK, we're not only providing free soccer balls with educational messages about HIV/AIDS and malaria to kids, we're helping communities learn work skills and earn money by teaching them how to stitch the leather balls themselves.

As part of Tonic's commitment to our education cause, we eagerly sent a check to the organization last week to support Alive & Kicking's great work in Africa. William Prochaska of the organization let me know this morning that the balls will be delivered in the next several weeks. Since we mailed the donation, we at 296 balls towards a goal of 2,500 (so, we need your help -- buy a shirt! It will make a great holiday gift for someone you care about).
At Tonic, we sell limited-edition designer tees to support one of four causes per quarter in the areas of education, the environment, alleviating poverty, and improving social welfare. The tees are gorgeous, made with sustainable bamboo and organic cotton, and fit like a glove...or rather, a well-designed tee.
