Top 10 Healthiest Cities for WomenBy Jac Chebatoris | Thursday, November 5, 2009 2:22 PM ET
According to a story from Self magazine, the city ranks as the number one healthiest place to live in the US for women. What makes Burlington so good? For starts, it has six times as many organic food producers and close to three times as many food co-ops than the survey average. After looking at 100 different cities for lifestyle (including how active the people are, rate of smoking and diet), the rest of the metro areas that made the cut include: Bethesda, Maryland Portland, Maine Cambridge, Massachusetts San Francisco, California Honolulu, Hawaii Stamford, Connecticut Madison, Wisconsin Santa Barbara, California Fargo, North Dakota
