Warren Buffett's Got Style

Warren Buffett sure knows how to set trends. And we’re not just talking about his investments this time.

The Wall Street Journal reportsthat the revered investor recently appeared in a promotional video for Trands, a Chinese clothier he loves so much he owns nine of their suits -- and wants to tell the world about them.

Buffett says he never has to worry on business trips because the suits don’t wrinkle and their tailors are so spot-on, he’s never had to have “an eighth of an inch changed." He’s also recommended the suits to pals like fellow billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

Meanwhile, investors are also taking note of the Berkshire Hathaway chairman’s new suits. Shares of Dalian Dayang Trands are up 70 percent since Buffett’s video was posted on the company’s Web site on September 10.

Buffett, who doesn’t own shares in Trands, has enough good investments. What Trands is giving him, he says, is fashion cred.

"They're comfortable and people tell me they look good," he told the WSJ. "I went 78 years before I got a compliment on my appearance."

Now that's what we call a long-term investment.
