If you're interested in sectors such as alternative energy, education and nonprofits, whether it be to volunteer, find employment or learn more about those industries, you've got a new source in Zoosa. It's a Web site started by Mike McGlade, who, according to this press release, first started working on it when he was a student at the Harvard Business School.

The site provides news briefs as well as lists of both job and volunteer opportunities. It also profiles organizations, and gives you the option to search by social impact issue (the site currently lists 21 separate issues). You can also post job or volunteer opportunities or get your organization listed. And you can add them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

As you may remember, I wrote a blog about Harvard's B-School graduates signing an oath to "create value responsibly and ethically." If you go to the list of those who signed and scroll down to 661, you'll see one Mike McGlade. Apparently, McGlade is one person who put his money where his online signature is.
