Described by the National Review as a "countercultural journalist out of Colorado," Ben Corbett has contributed to numerous magazines and newsweeklies, including VH1, Kirkus Reviews, High Times, Salon, Tattoo, Relix, and many others. The alternative writer has
established a reputation as a diligent human rights reporter as well as a
scholar of American and global economics, business and trade. An authority on
Latin American affairs, Corbett is the author of the nonfiction book, "This
is Cuba: An Outlaw Culture Survives." Most
recently, he contributed text along with Johnny Depp to the forthcoming
paperback release of "Gonzo"
(AMMO Books), a visual biography of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson.
