Jill K. Robinson

Jill K. Robinson began her career in performing arts management before the Internet lured her away and made her father think she had wasted her education and years of music lessons. A 15-year veteran of the online media world, she has worked at TravelMuse, Yahoo, Excite, CNET, and HotWired as a managing editor, product manager and business manager. Jill divides her time between writing about travel, running a kayak business and trying to wring awe-inspiring adventure out of her vacation days. Her favorite trips include tequila tasting in Mexico, hiking Peru’s Amazon jungle, kayaking in the Caribbean, and absolutely everything in New Orleans. She lives with her husband and chocolate Labrador in a small California beach town a mile away from the big wave surf spot, Mavericks.
