Steve Enders recently joined the Tonic staff as Editor and Director of Content. A few words about Steve: After graduating from Cal Poly SLO’s fabled journalism program, Steve got his feet wet covering cops, schools and city councils for various newspapers in Silicon Valley. That led to a stint as a magazine editor and writer covering the dot-com boom of the late 90s. During this time Steve saw the shining light that is online journalism, so he taught himself html and joined TechTV in 1999. As lead online producer, he immersed himself in everything from reporting, editing, and web and TV production. Steve joined Yahoo News in 2004 and the site quickly grew to become the world’s top online news destination. At Yahoo, Steve was involved in shaping coverage of events big and small, and also played pivotal roles in launching the site’s groundbreaking and award-winning original content initiatives. When not online, Steve can be found outside surfing, hiking, or chasing after his 3-year-old son. You will find Steve right here at Tonic News writing regular features, articles and generally contributing his expertise to make Tonic the leader in "doing good" journalism.  Feel free to contact Steve at steve[at]tonic.com.
