Steve Tanner is a freelance writer based in the Santa Cruz Mountains who got his start covering the meteoric rise and subsequent crash-landing of Silicon Valley’s dot-com experiment. Tanner’s work has been published in Business 2.0, Red Herring, SFGate.com, Santa Cruz Sentinel and the San Jose Business Journal, to name a few. When he’s not scouring the World Wide Web for Tonic, he can be found hanging out with his family, cooking gourmet meals, feeding the chickens, tending the garden or raging down some spine-tingling redwood trails on his bike.
