This Innovation Serves as a Photographic Assistant
Neat, neat and very neat are the only way to describe the latest photographic innovation from Sony.
Just imagine this scenario: you're hosting a party, trying to talk to guests and making sure you don't burn the house down with those baked clams in the oven. You also want to make sure you have some good memories of friends and family having such a good time. That means picking up the camera and taking shots when you can remember.
But now Sony's got the answer. It's Party-shot, an automatic photographer who does the work for you so you can enjoy the party, the soccer game, the family reunion and have good memories afterward as well.
It's actually a camera dock that pans 360 degrees and tilts 24 degrees, automatically detects faces and adjusts composition all for less than $150.
It uses BIONZ image processor to grab photos without you having to physically hit the shutter button. That means candid photos, fun moments caught on film.
“With the Party-shot personal photographer, you no longer have to worry about taking photos when you are with your family or friends,” said Shigehiko Nakayama, digital imaging accessories product manager at Sony Electronics, in a statement.
“Party-shot captures candid moments that tell natural life stories and also offers a new style of photography that enriches time with your family and friends.”
Sony's taking pre-order starting today. What better gift can you give yourself or a friend than a way to save and grab memories so easily? Just imagine what great baby shots and toddler craziness that can be had.
