Apple's Mystery Device has Rumors Flying

The Financial Times is reporting today that Apple's readying a 'tablet' PC-like device that will act like a digital hardcover music album, mini film screen and e-reader with a 10-inch display. And heck, that's just the first news leaked. Knowing Apple, there's likely much more still under wraps.

Their products aren't cheap, but apparently that's not stopping users who want some of the best and most innovative products. Just consider how many iPhones and iPods would have sold if the second worst recession in U.S. history wasn't thrashing people's buying budgets.

If this tablet device costs $500 or $800, is that too steep? Heck people were buying up Amazon's Kindle, which just let you read, for $400 just a year ago, and $300 for the iPhone before there were 65,000 software applications and 3G connectivity.

So it's just darn amazing what Apple can do, has done and will do and those who hate Apple can boo all they want and trash some of the company's eccentric product decisions, but no one, no one, can deny they're aren't as innovative, exciting and just incredible visionaries when it comes to pushing mobile computing forward.

Go, Apple, go.
