Alexander McQueen T-Shirts Support the Designer's Favorite Charity
Long Live McQueen!
So sayeth the new Alexander McQueen t-shirts for sale on HintMag in the wake of the talented, innovative designer's tragic decision to end his own life last month.
The commemorative t-shirts are a collaboration between HintMag and Christopher Lee Sauvé, the designer behind the trendy "Save Anna" (Wintour) and Rachel Zoe-inspired "Bananas" tees.
"The unisex shirt features the designer's pensive visage set against a graphic background of roses and the heart-felt words 'Long Live McQueen,'" says a representative from HintMag of the attractive shirts.
To honor not just the designer's good work, but also his good deeds, 30 percent of proceeds from the Long Live McQueen shirts will go to the Terrence Higgins Trust, the largest HIV/AIDS organization in the UK. According to a representative for Alexander McQueen, THT was one of his most-favored charities.
Another way to show your love for Alexander McQueen would be to ... you know ... wear a shirt by Alexander McQueen, but the one in HintMag's HintShop retails for just $65, whereas a t-shirt by the designer himself will run you at least $150 on Zappos. Either way, you're supporting the life and legacy of a legendary designer we all miss.
