Angelina Visit Soldiers and Jen Pays for a Day Off

jenniferaniston-001Angelina Jolie, despite being labeled "the temptress," is renowned for her good deeds. But it's Jennifer Aniston who wins this week's Miss Congeniality award for star generosity.

Even in these harsh economic times, the generous "Friend" Aniston went out of her way (and into her pocketbook) to pay for the entire cast and crew of The Bounty to start the Fourth of July holiday a day earlier than expected — by footing the bill for everyone's salary so they could enjoy a four-day holiday.

Crew costs can be in the low thousands to the high millions, but for Aniston? It's a drop in the bucket to keep a crew happy and rested. She has been in the New York City and tri-state area for the past couple of weeks filming The Bounty — an action thriller with Gerard Butler.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie continues her mission of goodwill with photos popping up of her visiting injured soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. While there is no date or announcement — even confirmation that this visit happened — it's rumored that Jolie made a stop by the hospital while filming her next action thriller Salt which she recently wrapped filming in mid-June.
