Be a Wine-Steen: Here's How.
Gary Vaynerchuck has made quite a name for himself as the host of Wine Library TV. His devoted video blog fanbase has helped give rise to a profile in the New York Times, as well appearances on Conan O'Brien's show, Ellen DeGeneres' and Jimmy Fallon's for starts. A 10-book has contract followed. According to the NYT piece, he "estimates his audience for each episode of Wine Library TV (he's just recorded No. 733) at 90,000 people, and he has nearly 900,000 followers on Twitter."
His loud and proud delivery is off-putting to some, but it is also what makes him stand out. Well, and that the guy knows what he's talking about. Which is wine. Wine, which can make even the coolest customer start the bits of flop sweat on a first date when it comes to that all important moment of picking the wine.
So for a primer, here is The Seven Minute Guide to Understanding Wine.
Watch it and believe that a snobby sommelier will never see you sweat!
