Most people associate Black Friday deals with electronics, Christmas gifts and clothing, but travel deals abound as well.

Sonesta St. Maarten Resorts is offering a 50 percent off sale from 12:01 a.m. (EST) Black Friday through midnight on Cyber Monday (Nov. 30.)  The Black Friday Beach Blowout applies for stays between December 18, 2009 and March 31, 2010 (including New Year's Eve!) and applies to room-only and all-inclusive stays.

Room-only rates originally starting at $275 per night will be on sale for just $138. All-inclusive rates originally starting at $245 per person, will be on sale for just $123. Christmas and New Year’s bookings require a minimum five-night stay and apply to room categories of Garden Island (Sonesta Maho) and Ocean View (Sonesta Great Bay). Here's another option (this one comes from TravelwithVal.com): The TradeWinds Sandpiper Resort on St. Pete Beach on Florida's Gulf Coast is offering room rates as low as $25 (regular rate is $220) to tweeters and Facebook Fans on Black Friday. The deal, available for select dates through January, kicks off at 6 a.m. (EST) Friday, Nov. 27.

Then, each hour up until 11 a.m., special rates and offers will be posted on the TradeWinds Facebook and Twitter pages. The final offer at 11 a.m. will remain valid until 11 p.m. Friday night.
