Star Survivors Support Susan G. Komen for the Cure
Breast cancer claims the life of one woman every 69 seconds. That statistic will form the backdrop for a one-night, star-studded event broadcast live at select movie theaters nationwide that will tell the stories of breast cancer survivors like Olivia Newton-John and Melissa Etheridge.
1 A Minute LIVE Supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure brings together survivors and celebrities for this inspiring evening of hope, awareness and discussion on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 8 p.m.
On this evening, movie-goers can buy a ticket at their local theater to see the docu-drama, 1 A Minute, directed by Indo-American actress and breast cancer survivor Namrata Singh Gujral and narrated by Kelly McGillis. It portrays one woman’s journey through the various phases of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, interwoven with the personal stories of celebrity survivors.
But the event will also feature a panel discussion (broadcast in real time) with cancer survivors and celebrities including Etheridge, Newton-John, William Baldwin, Namrata Singh Gujral, Barbara Mori and others, bringing to light the issues faced by women with breast cancer and their families, while highlighting the optimistic strides made against the disease in recent years.
Let's mark this historic evening on our calendars and build a sexy night out around fighting cancer!
Good Is the New Bad for Young Hollywood

"Take a look around you train wrecks, and check out who’s landing TV shows, movie roles, product endorsements and oodles of fans — it’s the new Hollywood goody goodies," Fuller writes.
So who do they vote into the squeaky clean club? Justin Bieber, Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Amanda Seyfried and Jessica Alba.
All lovely folks for sure. But if everyone is behaving themselves, who will we watch on Celebrity Rehab in a couple of years?
