Britain's Beer Museum

4000688436_cc774679be_m.jpgThere have certainly been days when we’ve all prayed to the porcelain god. But what do you do when you want to pay respects to the beer that got you there? Well, wonder no more.

NPR reports that beer maker Molson Coors is opening a National Beer Museum in Britain. After Coors bought a local brewery in England, it decided to shut down an existing museum accompanying the brewery in order to save money. But after local residents got into, well, a froth about it, the brewer decided it would not only keep the museum, but expand it.

So now the museum, in Burton-On-Trent, will not only have bigger exhibits, it’ll also need 40 more employees to work there. Welcome news to the town, which NPR notes has been struggling of late.

Thankfully, you don’t have to travel all the way to the UK to pay your respects. We’ve got our own Beer Museum right here in Milwaukee.
