The Best Pizza in New York, Part Deux

Earlier this week, we brought you news of a group of foodies who attempted to find the best slice of pizza in New York City. One New Yorker aims to do you one better.

According to a New York Daily News story, a Brooklyn man plans to sample a slice from every single pizza joint in the city and document the deliciousness in his blog, sliceharvester.blogspot.com.

For those unfamiliar with New York's pizza scene, this is a huge, huge undertaking, as there are literally thousands upon thousands of pizzerias in the city. The man, who wished only to be known as Colin, started his quest about a month ago in the northern tip of Manhattan. So far, he's chowed down at every single pizza restaurant above 125th Street.

Colin claims the journey will take him years to complete because he can only sample slices about once a week (he works at a diner among other odd jobs, so his time is spread pretty thin). When he does put on his eating pants, he tries anywhere from six to nine places in less than 12 hours.

At 5'10" and 160 pounds, we're not quite sure where Colin puts it all, but we wish him luck on his endeavor. Just please, please beef up the exercise -- all that pizza can result in some serious poundage.
