Charlize Theron Kissed a Girl (And She Liked It)

You might expect two girls to kiss at a place called Bimbo's, but you don't expect one of them to be named Charlize Theron. That's right, the Oscar-winning actress pulled a Katy Perry last week as part of a charitable fundraiser for ONEXONE.

The smooch took place at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco at an event featuring lots of celebrity bigwigs. Soccer great Mia Hamm was on hand to announce her Home Field Advantage initiative, while Matt Damon talked about bringing new soccer fields and clean water to South Africa. Jeremy Piven even helped auction off walk-on roles on Entourage for a couple hundred grand, but the night's highlight came from Theron, one of South Africa's own.

The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project is working with ONEXONE to help impoverished areas of rural South Africa, and she sought to raise money by giving away World Cup tickets, a safari and the chance to meet Nelson Mandela. When the bidding peaked at $37,000, Theron threw in a lip lock, and the paddles started to fly. In fact, the kiss added another $103,000 to the auction for a winning bidding price of $140,000. 

Ultimately, a woman outbid a man by $5,000 to land that kiss, and Theron lived up to her word. Naturally, the crowd loved it.
