Our Top We Heart Corey Haim Moments

If you grew up in the 80s, yesterday's tragic loss of Corey Haim probably feels personal, because chances are you connected with him. For girls, there was no one more adorably crush-worthy than Corey Haim. (His face, plastered inside of lockers everywhere.) And if you were a boy, Haim always played the guy that helped you believe there might be hope for you yet. Haim will surely be missed, but we'll carry his culture-defining moments with us always.
Here, a few of our favorites.
The Lost Boys - This film captures Haim at the height of his career, and reminds us of why some of us will never understand Twilight. Arguably the most memorable scene of the 1987 hit features Haim in the bathtub right before he discovers, "My brother is a vampire!" And, to top it all off, in the end he gets to be the hero.
Lucas - If you remember Haim for nothing else, it should be for his breakout role as Lucas — a breath of fresh air amidst the Brat Pack days. His brilliant portrayal of an endearingly earnest, definitely-not-cool-kid let us know it was OK to fly our freak flags, even if only in our minds in the darkness of the theater. Too many good moments to count, so here's the trailer.
My Secret Admirer - Although a small role, Haim turned in a remarkable performance. Right out of the gate he mastered the clever wise-beyond-his-years kid. The 1985 comedy of errors begins when C. Thomas Howell's love letter to Lori Laughlin ends up in the wrong hands. "Whoa! Radical!"
License to Drive - Although behind the scenes the innocence was already gone in 1987, Haim and best friend, Corey Feldman, gave us one last ride on Haim's quest to win the affections of Heather Graham.
