Cyndi Lauper and Shenae Grimes Making a Difference with a Little Help from Their Friends
90210 Star's 20 Photos Raise Thousands of Dollars Sipping a Hansen's soda because she's not even old enough to drink yet, 90210 star Shenae Grimes partnered with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital to host a Hodgkin's Lymphoma benefit at Avalon Beverly Hills. Shenae's friends like co-star Ryan Eggold and Entourage's Kevin Connolly joined Shenae, who showcased over 20 personal photos she took of her friend Laura Worthington, with the proceeds going to St. Jude's. Shenae told OK! "My best friend was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and I didn't know that much about it and I realized a lot of people don't and so we started taking these photographs as a feel good thing for her since she had to shave her head and it was the hardest thing for her to do." She added, "She felt beautiful after the first photo shoot so we continued and thought we could do something better with the photos so this gallery, donation and auction was perfect."
Cyndi Lauper Gives a Damn Cyndi Lauper has been happily married to David Thornton since 1991 but has always been a vocal supporter for gay rights. Yesterday, Cyndi's True Colors Fund launched the Give a Damn Campaign, an initiative to spur straight support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. The call-to-action will include a series of videos featuring Cyndi and friends such as Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Mraz, Cynthia Nixon and Anna Paquin — who announced in her video that she's bisexual. "We all have to get involved, we all have to give a damn," Cyndi says.

HBO's True Blood doesn't return from hiatus until June 13. In the interim, sexy Alexander Skarsgård went down to Louisiana and filmed Straw Dogs opposite Kate Bosworth. Since filming wrapped, their relationship has continued — as one of Hollywood's worst kept secrets. According to E''s Marc Malkin, the pair was recently spotted lunching at Doughboys in LA, where he's told the hot vampire, "kissed Kate's hand" as she grinned ear to ear and, "They were laughing all throughout lunch and looked cozy on a date."
