Your Smile File editor can't make up her mind today. Do something endearing because it's 9/11 and we're being somber today? Or, give people a respite from that sadness and post a silly picture? Or, maybe we'll do both.

Read this story from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It's about Cardinals first basemen Albert Pujols and his connection with a fan who got creamed trying to catch a foul ball at a game. They met because of the foul ball accident, but their connection is over their children -- both have Down syndrome.

For those who would like their heartstrings left well enough alone:

Who knew you could get a social media job at a gas station?! The whole world is officially tweeting now -- does this mean the shark jumped?

Do You Miss The Snuggie?

I do. It's getting cold. So I went in search of the next Snuggie and found this:

It's called a Body-Technology Interface. We're not actually sure if it's designed to make you laugh or not. Becky Stern at Sternlab says it's a "Laptop Compubody Sock for privacy, warmth, and concentration in public spaces." Uh-huh.

I'm pretty sure that's not going to help me concentrate, but it will make me laugh!
