Dolly Parton's Trinkets and Treasures

dollyp.jpg

The name pretty much says it all: Dolly Parton's Trinkets and Treasures. It's Dolly's new retail store set to open this week in Nashville. (The grand opening celebration, with Dolly in attendance, will be in March).

What must be sold in there?! What type of Dolly-centric trinkets and treasures? There will be a good deal of pink (to wit: her Backwoods Barbie album was electrically resplendent in the hue), but also, in a nod to her "Coat of Many Colors" history, a mix of yellow, red, blue, green and purple on the outside and the interior.

The store will be on 2nd Avenue next door to the Wild Horse Saloon in downtown Nashville. Well, thank goodness it'll be a Dolly Parton store instead of some kind of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Fun House Store.

That's Dolly for you, though — always making the world a better place.
