eBay WTF of the Day: More Than Meets the Eye

I didn't think much of it when I first saw this hat.

However, because it was a bonnet, and really, you don't see a lot of bonnets on eBay, I clicked on it. Holy Moses! It's a transformer! More than meets the eye!

This hat unfolds and becomes an apron. That's right. When you're tired of cooking, you can just fold up your nersty, pasta-sauce-stained apron and put it on your head (for that nice, pasta-sauce-scented-hair thing the men all love).

Conversely, when you're tired of looking Amish, you can take off the bonnet and unfold it into an apron so you just look ... old-timey. Amish and old-timey are not the same thing, and this apron-hat goes easily from one to the other.

So ... it's got that going for it.

Seriously, WTF? What is the point of this other than the sheer novelty (which I'll admit is somewhat remarkable)? I keep having these strange fantasies of some BBQ-dude wearing this bonnet style between burger flipping as he sips a Corona. It's gonna be a weird morning.
