eBay WTF of the Day: Robot Dog Purse

There are three things a purse should be:

1. Practical.

2. Stylish.

3. Appropriate to the Occasion.

Do you see "A Dog" on that list? No. No, you don't.

One could argue that "A Dog" is a possible implication of #3; as maybe there is an occasion where a purse shaped like a dog is appropriate. But do tell, what is that occasion? Not a dog party. Like those dogs want to imagine that you hollowed out a puppy and put your wallet in it!

It wouldn't be appropriate at a premiere. It wouldn't be appropriate with Richard Gere. It wouldn't be appropriate to take to dinner. It wouldn't be appropriate for an Oscar winner.

Maybe, maybe for your niece's birthday party, if she really liked dogs and you thought the sight of a dog purse would make her smile, maybe it would be appropriate for that — but only if her birthday party has an robot theme, and really, what are the chances of that?
