eBay WTF of the Day: The Heart Hole

While I have certainly made dangerous forays into the world of cutting-edge fashion experimentation, one thing I have never tried is the heart hole (at right). I almost typed "one trend I have never tried," but I don't think we can really call this a trend. This has only happened like ... this time.

This Unusual Cut Out Boho Fashion Blouse Top is truly amazing, in that it not only incorporates a cross-seamed heart hole, but it also has this undeniably fabulous earring attached to it. Off to the side. WTF?

I could totally understand if you had this great pair of costume earrings and you lost one, you'd want to affix the one you still had to a top or something to still be able to revel in its fabulosity. It might work. However, when you attach the earring off-center to a heart hole, I am not convinced of your sanity. Your fashion credibility is ruined, and if I tried to shoot you in the heart hole for this crime, the earring wouldn't even save you. What makes the asymmetry even less acceptable is the fact that there is a center seam down the front of this shirt. It's not okay! Not even with a saucy hip swivel (see left). I'm concerned you may have simply misplaced your BeDazzler and were jonesing to put jewelry where it doesn't belong.

Asymmetry aside (haha), if there's a hole where your heart is, do not attempt to solve the problem with costume jewelry. I am not givin' you fourteen of my Australian dollars for this madness. I only have one anyway, and it's at my parents' house. WTF.
