What's Your Facebook Status Color? Women Reveal Themselves

bluebra.jpgWonder why all of your women friends are changing up the color of their Facebook status updates? The answer is a good one: cancer awareness. It couldn't be simpler to make a statement. Simply change your status to reveal the color of bra you're wearing (men need not apply).

If you haven't gotten the "Something fun is going on" message yet, here's what it says:

"Write the color of your bra in your status. Just the color, nothing else. And send this on to ONLY women no men. It will be neat to see if this will spread the wings of cancer awareness. It will be fun to see how long it takes before the men wonder why the women have a color in their status.....LOL!"

This guerrilla campaign is doing well. So far, I've already seen colors coming from my college friends in England and even celebrities. Every single person you see doing this is taking a moment to think about ... well ... boobs. It's such a simple and fun way to show your support for cancer research, as well as patients and survivors.

"There's no word yet on the origin or the ultimate goal of the campaign," reports AnnArbor.com. Cancerspot.org offers some sage advice: "So, while you’re peeking inside your shirt to see what color bra you are wearing so you can post it in your status update, go ahead and feel around in there, make sure there are no lumps. And if there are, call your doc for a clinical exam!"
