Ghosts April 19 to 26: Bard Born, Earth Day

Ah, springtime! That ringa-dinga-ding time! Where were we decades ago? Centuries ago? Why, saying hello to Shakespeare this very week! And ushering in the Inaugural Earth Day. From Apollo to Hubble, it's Ghosts in Space!

April 23, 1564: As legend has it, Shakespeare takes the world stage. April 23, 1635: First public school opened in United States. April 22, 1970: Very first Earth Day kicks off! April 21, 1871: The Ku Klux Klan gets clipped by the Civil Rights Act of 1871. April 20, 1972: Apollo 16 makes its moon landing. April 24, 1990: The Hubble Telescope takes off via Discovery. April 24, 1996: Hello, Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996.
