Gifts from Cheating Boyfriend Benefit Hospice
Love for sale? Well not exactly ...
A British woman is selling her Christmas gifts on eBay after she discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her with a friend of hers from work.
The gifts, all still wrapped, reports the UK's Daily Mail, are being auctioned off with a posting that reads:
"Here for sale are a lot of unwanted, unopened Christmas presents from my very ex-boyfriend.
We fell out on the 22nd and we will definitely not be getting back together, so I do not want anything he had chosen for me this year. This is a bargain for someone as he always bought me nice gifts."
Instead of nursing her broken heart, or acting out in a fit of scorned fury, Leanne Joseph, 24, has taken the decidedly higher road than her ex, and has promised to donate whatever proceeds she receives to a local hospice in her West Yorkshire town.
Could this be some kind of elaborate Miss Lonely Hearts Internet scheme?
Let's hope not as the winning bid was £350 ($675).
And, after Marshall put her faith in someone who did not deserve it (her ex), it's nice to know that someone returned the favor.
