Look Here Green Conscious Co-eds: College Picks for You
It's so nice to know that our global consciousness for environmental issues has moved beyond just "Save the Whales" and "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."
In fact, you can apply some kind of eco-thought process to nearly every decision these days — from the kind of car you drive to the kind of toilet paper you use, or the college or university you decide to attend. It wouldn't be a wild assumption that today's co-eds would include a standard of how green their prospective schools of higher education are when narrowing down the list of applications. For some, the criteria began and ended with the girl to guy ratio, but now, as Grist points out, from a list compiled by Sierra magazine, there's a goodly amount of colleges that show their school colors, with a few strokes of green.
Number one on the list?
University of Colorado, Boulder.
