Twitter Update: OMG, I Just Got Married
Depending on the type of person you are, this story will make you shake your head, laugh out loud, cringe or some combination of the three.
Dana Hanna got married on November 21. This is supposed to be the happiest day of his and his bride Tracy's lives, so naturally they want to share it with the people they love. Assumedly, those people would be in attendance to witness it themselves, to see Dana and Tracy exchange their vows and wedding rings, and then those guests would dab tears from their eyes as the two kiss for the very first time as a newly married couple. Well, Dana had other ideas when it comes to sharing.
Once the officiant pronounced that the two were husband and wife, Dana pulled out his cell phone and apparently decided, you know what, I need to update my relationship status on Facebook. So he did. And he'd of course be remiss to exclude those who follow him as TheSoftwareJedi on Twitter, so he updated his status on there, too. And if you think I'm kidding, here's the video:
Thankfully, in the spirit of teamwork, his wife had the opportunity to update her relationship status as well, courtesy of Dana. And as the officiant said, "It's official on Facebook, it's official in my book, Dana, you may kiss your bride."
Ain't (technological) love grand?
