For One Doctor, Helping the Unemployed Is a Hair-raiser
Wading through today’s job market can be a hairy experience. Luckily, one doctor is here to help. Dr. Robert Leonard, founder of Leonard Hair Transplant Associates, who has offices in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire, announced that in honor of the practice’s 20th anniversary and his 50th birthday, he will hold a contest for unemployed residents of Rhode Island and Massachusetts to give them the boost of confidence to get the job.
From June 15 to July 15, contestants can submit entries here explaining why they deserve to win a first prize package of free hair restoration surgery and Botox or facial filler. Contestants will be narrowed down to 20 finalists who will each be profiled as a means of promoting their job credentials to voters who log on to vote for the winner.
“Unemployment rates are on the rise, and history has shown that positions are often offered to candidates who appear younger, healthier and more energetic,” said Leonard. “First impressions are everything, and it’s never been so important to ensure that physical appearance doesn’t detract from a person’s strong credentials and ability to compete, rejoin the workforce, and regain a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.”
The winner and a runner-up, who will receive six months of free low-level laser light therapy and Botox or facial filler — will be announced August 10.
Hairs to looking your best and getting that job!
