Heidi Klum Is Such a Doll

Heidi Klum is one busy glamorous lady: not only is she pregnant with her fourth child, but the former Project Runway host has a jewelry line, a fragrance line, appears in various print ads, and let's not forget, still occasionally struts her stuff down the catwalk in next to nothing.

Just being that fabulous takes up a lot of time.

But Heidi has managed to fit playtime into her schedule: She's playing with dolls. Yep, the German model now has her very own Barbie made in her likeness, complete with a sequin mini-dress and miniature gold gladiator-style platform boots (at right, via Popbytes). Heidi even had a hand in styling her mini-fashionista for a photo shoot. The doll is part of Barbie's "Blonde Ambition Collection," which is celebrating famous blondes in fashion and entertainment.

I know Barbie, through the years, has had her share of controversy (does she do damage to young girls by lowering their self-esteem because of her plastic perfection?), but it's nice to see that a woman like Heidi Klum, who is, yes, lauded for her looks, has showed off her business acumen as well — making herself a true role model. Now, if we could get a Deborah Harry doll, that would be even cooler, I think.

After all, she is from Blondie.
