Inspire Positive Change 'Nau'
Know any athletes, artists or activists who inspire you with what they do? Or do you consider yourself inspirational? Then Nau's first annual Grant for Change (G4C) is right up your alley.
Nau is a Portland, Ore.-based sustainable outdoor apparel company and they decided they wanted to support people who "instigate lasting, positive change in their communities." Visit the Nau G4C website and you'll see a list of nominees. The nomination process started on July 7 and runs through Aug. 17, while voting continues to Aug. 31.
If you know someone who should be nominated, fill out the online form. Or if you think you're a great nominee, submit yourself. There's no shame in letting the world know that you kick butt. And whether or not you nominate someone, you should take the time to vote.
After voting ends, 10 finalists will be chosen, five by the company and five by online voting. Those finalists will have the month of September to provide more information and the official Grantee will be announced in early October.
Voting for people that actually inspire positive change?Yeah, that seems about right.
