Jennifer Aniston Loves This Shirt ... and You Will Too
Jennifer Aniston is usually photographed wearing Prada or Gucci, but not last Thursday. Instead, she chose a far more impactful designer item piece to wear out in La La Land: a T-shirt by OmniPeace.
OmniPeace — a California-based clothing company — just launched a line of tees to benefit Congolese women and children that are victims of violence. For every shirt that's sold, a quarter of the purchase price (which runs between $65 and $78) goes towards that worthy cause. And like so many of the designer goodies celebs in Los Angeles love, you can pick these shirts up at Kitson.
And speaking of celebs, Aniston wasn't the only one wearing an OmniPeace tee on Thursday. For the collection's launch event, which was held at L.A.'s STK Restaurant, Sheryl Crow and Courteney Cox also wore the tees to show their support. (They're all pictured here with Mary Fanaro, OmniPeace's founder. Do you think they conference called about what color jeans to wear?)
If you pick up one of these shirts — whether your motivation is philanthropic or as a US Weekly celeb fan — you'll also get a hangtag that's actually a postcard to President Obama asking him to help bring an end to the violence in the Congo. Whether your zip code is in Hollywood, 90210, or anywhere else in the world, it's definitely worth mailing.
