Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato's 'Make a Wave' Video is Released
The highly anticipated video for Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato's "Make a Wave" has hit the Internet! The song is a bit cheesetastic and the instruments and melody harken back to the early '90s era of "songs with messages" — although it does make us nostalgic for "Heal the World."
Nevertheless, we salute Jonas and Lovato for their involvement in Disney's Friends for Change: Project Green campaign.
As Tonic previously reported, their new single will be released on iTunes on March 14, and all proceeds will go to environmental charities through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund. The song will also appear in the new Disney movie OCEANS, which premieres on Earth Day 2010 (that's April 22 to those of you without it already noted on your calendars).
In an interview with with Radio Disney Total Access, the duo — who say they are "best friends" — talked about the song's important message. She also shared some secrets about her co-star's performing behavior: "He likes to do some crazy dance moves ... It's nice to just be able to laugh about
