Lady Gaga It Up For Halloween

In lieu of the slutty kitten/devil/angel costumes sure to be prowling around on Halloween night in a couple more weeks, New York Magazine offers up a look at a variation on the theme (mostly involving leather, no pants) with a series of costumes for dressing up like Lady Gaga. For the woman who makes everyday Halloween, it's a pretty fitting concept.

Plus, if you lack the funds needed to support the costume, you can always dig back into your closet to find things reminiscent of late '80s Madonna, because, yes, the two are similar, what with the black fishnets, corset/body stocking idea. Though, to be fair, Madge never did rock a dress made from bubbles.

But don't worry, you needn't just stick to one "Gaga Look," thankfully NYMAG presents Biker Gaga (denim vest), Rocker Gaga (leather all over), Hard Rock Gaga (leather and leopard), Love Game Gaga (more leather ... studded belt with panties), Avant Garde Gaga (yes!), Girly Gaga (the hair bow, or no, the bow made out of hair).

The dress made of bubbles really might be a little harder to pull off. But hey, if you're only going with one night to release those inhibitions, you really could go for the full Gaga.
