Men's Warehouse Strips Down for the Unemployed

men-suits.jpgIs it time to let go of that double breasted Armani? If so, strut on down to the closest Men's Warehouse and donate your gently used dress wear.

Almost 700,000 people are homeless in the US and it can be challenging to go to a job interview wearing what you slept in the night before. To help Americans break the cycle of poverty, take part in the third annual Men's Wearhouse National Suit Drive for the homeless and unemployed.

To draw attention and gain media support for their campaign, the company sent half naked men to the streets carrying signs that said, "give the suit off your back," giving the impression that they had just done so.

Men's Wearhouse will donate sports coats, dress pants, vests and ties to over 200 charities that help the unemployed find jobs. The retailer has also pledged to add a new dress shirt to every whole suit collected.

Help them reach their goal of 100,000 clothing donations by Sept. 30 by searching for the nearest Men's Warehouse location here.
