The Hand of Victory

Looking for a piece of Michael Jackson history? Sure, you could buy the Rolling Stone commemorative issue or something like that, but now you have the opportunity to own one of the most iconic items of the singer's legendary career: his infamous crystal-adorned white glove from the Jacksons' 1984 Victory Tour.

Profiles in History — Hollywood's top memorabilia dealer whose auctions have included the Cowardly Lion costume from The Wizard of Oz, the T-800 Endoskeleton from Terminator 2 and even Luke Skywalker's lightsaber — acquired the glove and other Jackson items for their next auction on Oct. 2 and 3.

The Ted Shell-designed glove was part of Jackson's "Suit of Lights" and features Austrian crystal rhinestones, bugle beads and 50 small lights. The King of Pop wore the outfit during the Victory Tour, which was essentially a Jackson family reunion. The famed singer donated his payday from the tour — all $5 million — to charity.
