Oh Those Signs!

With the long campaign season behind us, you might be left with one ... two ... nine of those pesky campaign lawn signs. I saw them all over the Bay Area (mostly due to battling propositions on the state ballot) and now that I'm in New York, am noticing them sitting lonely in various window and even discarded in the street!

Grist ran a great story today on recycling and reusing these ubiquitous campaign icons. It may not be easy to get rid of them, but where there's a will, there's a way. Hell — one guy even built a house with them! Read more here.
