Outfit Yourself Orange for Free Food

Only got one good wear out of that pumpkin costume from two Halloweens ago? Well, thanks to Texas-based burger chain Whataburger, the incredibly unflattering orange contours of your favorite Halloween outfit can now be part of your regular wardrobe rotation!

The 700-restaurant burger chain recently announced that this month it is launching "Whataburger Serves," a program aimed at helping out its employees and customers through this difficult economy. Just by dressing up in the company’s signature orange from head to toe, you’ll get a free burger. Moderate humiliation is but a small price to pay for this Texas-sized burger the company says takes two hands to hold.

Families of Whataburger employees will also benefit under the program. They’ll get their burgers for half-price. No, they don’t have to dress up. Hey, there should be some bonus to being with the company!

Unfortunately, you will still have to pay for the deep-fried pumpkin pie. There are some things that are just too good to give away for free.
