Serve Your Country — Volunteer!

Are you looking to get involved in your community but you are not sure what kind of organizations there are in your area? Well you have come to the right place because President Obama has recently signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act.

Passed on April 21, 2009, this act ultimately will provide a search engine to guide volunteers in their quest to help change and improve the United States. Accordingly, this act launched a comprehensive website that will assist Americans in finding volunteer work according to his or her specific interests and location. The search results are not just limited to the United States, but can help deliver opportunities for all around the world.

If you wish to give back to your country and community and want to learn more about the programs near you, just go to Serve.gov to find out more information about how you can get involved.
