Sully's a Hero Again ... In the Bedroom
Being a hero has its perks. Namely, in the sack.
America's favorite pilot, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger has admitted all the accolades have spiced up his sex life.
"Rock star sex," is how the hero pilot explained it to NBC for their upcoming "People of the Year" TV special.
His wife wholeheartedly agrees, and is the one who spilled the beans publicly in the first place. "He doesn't know I'm going to say this, but I had joked the other day that ... the hero sex really helps a 20-year-old marriage," declared Lorrie Sullenberger.
As the world knows, the 58-year-old pilot became a worldwide celebrity after he expertly landed US Airways flight 1549 in the Hudson River after a flock of birds caused him to lose power in both engines. All 155 people aboard survived.
Sully was initially praised for his technical prowess, and the national love affair only grew after Americans realized that he's a decent, modest, hardworking guy to boot.
Since that amazing landing, Sully has been a busy dude. He's become an international speaker on airline safety, become co-chairman of the Experimental Aircraft Association's Youth Eagles program, which introduces kids to aviation, and he's written Highest Duty, the requisite memoir chronicling the flight.
Plus, he's proven he's a tiger between the sheets. But sorry America, we might be collectively in love with this mustached pilot, but his wife knows that he only has eyes for her.
