Taylor-Made! Swift Sweeps the CMTs

Everyone's favorite cowgirl did it again.

At Tuesday night's CMT Music Awards, teen crooner Taylor Swift walked away with the fan-voted Video of the Year over such superstars as Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Sugarland and Carrie Underwood. She won the trophy for "Love Story," the hit single from her sophomore album Fearless.

Paying respect to her elders, Swift said in her acceptance speech, "I want to thank Shania Twain for always making such theatrical videos, and I want to thank Garth Brooks for always putting the fans first."

Swift, who also won for Female Video, nabbed the same two trophies at the 2008 CMT Awards as well.

The blonde singer also had the most interesting pairings of the night. She pre-taped a tongue-in-cheek rap video with T-Pain called "Thug Story," and she closed out the night performing "Pour Some Sugar on Me" with Def Leppard. WT-awesome-F.

Awards host James Engvall set up the Def Leppard collaboration earlier in the night saying, "[Here's a] girl young enough to be my daughter with a band I was listening to when I conceived my daughter."

Other big CMT winners included Rascal Flatts (Group), Sugarland (Duo), Zac Brown Band (Breakthrough) and Brad Paisley, who hauled off three trophies for Male, Performance and Collaboration (the latter including Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and George Strait for "Country Boy").  Though it shouldn't come as a surprise anymore, one-time rap-rocker Kid Rock even scored a win for "All Summer Long" in the Wide Open Country Video category. Always keeping it classy, Kid Rock said, "I think this was based on creativity, this award, because what's more creative than a strip pole on a pontoon boat?"

Kid also mentioned he forgot whom he was supposed to thank and left it at that. Nevertheless, the fairytale ride continues for Taylor Swift, Kid Rock continues to expand his base and Brad Paisley just keeps getting bigger. All is right in the world of country music.
