Alice in Wonderland Fever Breaks: Don't be late for the very important date of March 5, when Tim Burton's magnificent 3-D retelling of Alice in Wonderland hits theaters. Just to keep it on your minds, Tonic has created a list of the 10 weirdest Alice adaptations.
James Cameron Spreads Eco Message: The director has been promoting the environmentalist message in his Oscar-nominated Avatar, saying "[the film] asks us all to be warriors for the earth." It's rare for a director to be so forthcoming about a film's message, and we applaud Cameron's candor.
Ellen Takes Her Vitamins: American Idol has undergone many changes between the past two seasons, but one subtle one may have gone unnoticed. The judges usual Coca Cola cups have been replaced by Vitaminwater because their newest judge, Ellen DeGeneres, is the brand's newest spokesperson.
Bon Jovi's Research Missions: The New Jersey rocker is returning to his blue-collar roots on his new tour, which features hits from his band's latest album, The Circle. During downtime on the tour, Bon Jovi will visit homeless shelters and rescue centers as part of a fact-finding mission for the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.
Capt. Chesley Sullenberger Retires: The brave pilot who commandeered the "Miracle on the Hudson" last year during which he saved the lives of 155 people on board has decided to retire from flying the friendly skies. He will continue to advise politicians on aviation safety procedures while writing his next book.
